No, I’m not crazy – I’m writing an article ![]()
There are a lot of registrars that charge around $10, or free with purchase. But who has the MOST EXPENSIVE domain registration on the net? And I’m not talking about pre-registered domains.
Thanks

NSI (Network Solutions) used to be $35 a year. They are/were the company that registered all domain names no matter where they were purchased from. Registering through them directly used to be the most expensive…not sure if that is the case anymore.
I think it would depend on the domain suffix. For a .com or some thing like that it would be NSI(I think). But some ccTLD’s are much more expensive.
Ditto NSI… They are as far as I know just about the *ultimate* (or one of them) “top tier” registrar. I had a domain there when I used Earthlink and when I moved away they said…”You’ll regret it!” Not that I did…but I ended up paying far less!
Bell Canada charges $30/yr for .com/net/org registration
$60/yr for info/biz. When it comes to ripping people off, they probably could take on the competition anytime.

Furthermore, they do not let you have any direct access to modify your domain and give you the runaround if you want to move it away from them.
