I guess my question is, is news in the public domain once it is reported. I write articles in my own words, I don’t quote or copy verbatim.

Not asking about free web hosting. I mean, how do you setup a website without using a web hosting service. Obviously they run their own website and support other peoples. There can’t just be a never ending chain of web hosts supporting each other. So there should be a way to just buy a domain and host your own website, right?

I already have the domain name, I just need to get it to search engines.

For an example, a person wants to create a website about politics. And the discussions on the site might be somewhat radical, which can cause trouble to the founder if their information is revealed.
How can that person own a domain name without revealing personal information?
PS: I’ve heard of a feature called “private registration.” Is it a safe and risk-free way?
