A screenshot shows the status of the validation from UptimeSafe (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) – Web hosting provider RivalHost ( www.rivalhost.com ) announced on Monday that it has received APS-400 certification from UptimeSafe ( www.uptimesafe.com ), an independent certification that indicates a service provider has 99.9 percent uptime. According to its website, UptimeSafe is a new service that certifies the uptime of online service providers with a proprietary certification from the company. Certified providers are tested “around the clock.”  RivalHost says its shared hosting environment was monitored by UptimeSafe for a three month period so the uptime achieved by the Web host equates to less than 12 minutes of downtime in a 90 day period
