In a post made Friday to the Google Online Security Blog , Ben Laurie of the Google Security Team described several of the efforts the search giant (and browser-builder) is involved in to help tighten security around domains and SSL certificates. The first is extending the usability of the Google Certificate Catalog, a database of records related to SSL certificates encountered by the company’s web crawlers.

A video still from Open-Xchange’s website shows the usability of its mobile functions (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) – Open-source software provider Open-Xchange ( www.open-xchange.com ) announced on Tuesday that it has made enhancements to its business-class email including improved usability, flexibility and mobile support.   This announcement comes a week after Open-Xchange announced a partnership with web hosting provider Host Europe to provide webmail to more than 1.4 million email accounts.  According to the press release, Open-Xchange now has a “space-saving compact panel” for tablet users
