Coupon Tracker Sees Spike in Web Hosts Targeting Go Daddy Outrage

A screenshot from CouponFollow’s list of elephant-related hosting and domain coupons (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — A coupon code tracking website CouponFollow ( www.couponfollow.com ) issued a press release this week, saying it has seen a spike in discounted offerings from web hosting providers targeting customers looking to move their accounts away from hosting giant Go Daddy in the wake of a controversial video of the company’s CEO Bob Parsons shooting and killing an elephant while on vacation in Zimbabwe. Parsons discussed the video in a phone interview with the WHIR , in which he credited “a very vocal minority” with producing most of the objection to the video.

Twitter Completes Migration to Utah Data Center

Twitter made the announcement via its engineering blog, and said its “unprecedented growth and sightings of the infamous Fail Whale” prompted the company to make a plan to increase its capacity and reliability. Twitter revealed its migration plans last September.
