April 13, 2012 — Cloud management provider RightScale announced on Tuesday that it will offer HP Cloud as one of the public cloud choices available for management with RightScale.

Due to a problem with the TLD Application System (TAS), ICANN has shut down the TAS until Tuesday at 23:59 UTC – unless otherwise notified before that time – and so have now extended the application window for TLD applications until Friday, 20 April. In their announcement ICANN note they have recently “received a report of unusual behaviour with the operation of the TAS system” and that they “then identified a technical issue with the TAS system software.” ICANN has now taken “the most conservative approach possible to protect all applicants and allow adequate time to resolve the issue.
