It appears likely the Saudi Arabian Oil Company snapped up the top reported sale for the week to 17 July according to the Domain Name Journal weekly sales chart. The domain name topping the chart was sadara.com, sold for $71,000 through Sedo. It was a quiet week for big sales with the second biggest sale being nursepractitioner.com, selling for $36,300. Overall there were 12 .COM sales in the top 20 while Sedo also accounted 12 of the top 20 sales. There were also five ccTLD sales in the top 20. In a week where the top selling domain (soles.com) went for the relatively low amount of $50,000 there were only 13 domain names that made the five-figure mark. Overall in the week to 8 June, the week was quiet for Sedo who accounted for only nine of the top 20 sales while .COM domains made up ten of the top 20. There were no six-figure sales in the week to 29 May according to Domain Name Journal’s list of reported sales where FatBurners.com topped the weekly chart, selling for $66,000 through Sedo. Internet.co was second, selling for a somewhat surprisingly low $40,000, while another surprisingly low sale was TheWall.com in eighth place, selling for $25,000. However while there were no big sales, the mid-market was busy with over 40 five-figure sales for the week. Overall there were eleven .COM sales in the top 20 and ten Sedo sales including the top three. It might have been a week with no sales to inspire, but DoorHardware.com topped the Domain Name Journal sales chart for the week to 6 March, selling for $85,000 through Sedo. Sedo accounted for 14 of the top 20 sales for the week, as did sales of .COM names

Won.com sold for $115,000 through Moniker/SnapNames to top the Domain Name Journal weekly list of reported domain name sales in the week to 27 February. Won.com was the only six-figure sale for the week with socialmusic.com and sketchbook.com coming second and third, selling for $60,558 (Moniker/SnapNames) and $50,000 (Sedo) respectively. Moniker/SnapNames had a good week in the sales chart taking six of the top ten positions and seven of the top 20.

January has been a quiet month for domain name sales and the week to 23 January was no exception, according to Domain Name Journal’s list of top reported sales. The week saw .COM names take the top six positions and Sedo responsible for the top seven sales, with the top selling domain being 06.com, for a very uninspiring price for a weekly top seller of $91,888
