From the AtlantaNAP website, an image showing some of the facility’s power infrastructure (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Colocation and dedicated server provider Global Net Access ( www.gnax.net ) announced on Monday that it has upgraded the electrical infrastructure at its Atlanta, Georgia data center, known as AtlantaNAP, to a meet the specifications for Tier 4 classification. According to GNAX, the upgrade will enable the AtlantaNAP facility to provide colocation, dedicated server, managed hosting and cloud services customers with 100 percent uptime service level agreements. AtlantaNAP, says the company, is the only public data center in the US with active A/B feeds connected to diverse substations, physically diverse entry and access routes to the building and full physical separation of the fuel generators and UPS systems.
