Won.com sold for $115,000 through Moniker/SnapNames to top the Domain Name Journal weekly list of reported domain name sales in the week to 27 February. Won.com was the only six-figure sale for the week with socialmusic.com and sketchbook.com coming second and third, selling for $60,558 (Moniker/SnapNames) and $50,000 (Sedo) respectively. Moniker/SnapNames had a good week in the sales chart taking six of the top ten positions and seven of the top 20.

Although a bit behind in reporting on Domain Name Journal’s sales lists for 2011, the list of reported domain names sales sees SoulMate.com topping the list for $100,000 through AfternicDLS, the only six-figure sale for week to 9 January. Sales of .COM names filled the top four places, and unusually a COM.AU name took fifth place with electricity.com.au selling for $34,000 through Netfleet

In a two-week wrap of domain name sales to 5 September, Domain Name Journal’s list of sales saw the ninth biggest reported sale to date of jerusalem.com. The domain name sold for $510,000 through Sedo, but was a long way of the top reported sale to date, that of slots.com, which sold for $5.5m in February.

Prince.com was the top selling domain name in the week to 22 August according to the Domain Name Journal list of top reported sales, selling for $235,000 through MediaOptions.

A Brazilian domain name (com.br) was the week’s largest reported domain names sale in the week to April 18. Imoveis.com.br (real estate in Portuguese) sold for $300,000 making it the second largest ccTLD sale of 2010 to date, being beaten only by credit.fr that sold for $851,875, according to Domain Name Journal.

ScreenSavers.com was the top selling reported domain name sale for the week to March 21 according to Domain Name Journal, selling for $335,000 in a Moniker/SnapNames sale.

The sale of poker.org for $1 million was the biggest sale in the three weeks to 21 February according to Domain Name Journal’s list of reported domain name sales. The sale was the largest .ORG sale ever with the previous record being engineering.org, sold several years ago for $198,000
