A website displaying the Verisign Trust Seal (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Security firm Symantec ( www.symantec.com ) announced on Tuesday that domain registrar Moniker ( www.moniker.com ) now offers VeriSign SSL certificates and VeriSign’s Trust Seal to its customers.  This announcement comes a week following Symantec’s partnership with Adgregate Market s to provide VeriSign’s SSL certificates and trust seal to Facebook storefront service, ShopFans. Symantec says Moniker offers VeriSign SSL and EVSSL products as well as the VeriSign Trust Seal and its Seal-in-Search service that displays “the VeriSign Trust Seal next to a website’s link within search results in participating search engines, partners and security tools.” “We pride ourselves in making domain registrations safe and secure in an easy-to-manage and worry-free environment, and that’s why we’re adding VeriSign SSL, VeriSign Trust Seal and GeoTrust certificates as options for our registrants,” Moniker general manager Craig Snyder said in a statement. “In a marketplace where trust is essential to success, the VeriSign brand is the most recognized trust mark on the Internet.

The proposed new law also covers any future top level domains that in some way reference or are related to Iceland .
