August 25, 2011 — A San Antonio court sentenced a former Rackspace sales employee to two years of probation Thursday for defrauding the company out of $64,174, according to a report by MySanAntonio.com. The defendant, David John Whitman, pleaded guilty back in May to two counts of wire fraud, admitting that he submitted fake service orders with the intent of earning higher commissions.
