Now launched, the website provides information, including photos and videos, about the upcoming April 29th wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

We all know that there are plenty of excellent Web hosting options available in the UK. However, it looks like The Royal Family went with a relatively safe choice, namely Google, to host www.officialroyalwedding2011.org . Built by Accenture and employing creative input from the Reading Room, the official site of the Royal Wedding being held on April 29, 2011, is powered by Googles App Engine because of it’s capability to handle large global peaks in Web traffic.
