First opened in June , Phoenix NAP now has a total of 19 network carriers operating out of its 160,000 square foot facility. “As a network access point for Phoenix, the state of Arizona, and the greater southwestern US region, connectivity is an integral component of our operations,” Ian McClarty, president of Phoenix NAP said in a statement. “The emphasis we have placed on networks and peering thus far has yielded the high number of carriers we have in our facility, and we will continue to be adding more in the future to address varying market needs.” In October, the WHIR took a tour of the Phoenix NAP facility . “The addition of Tinet to our datacenter is a significant component of our strategy to provide a multitude of high-quality global connectivity options to Phoenix NAP clients,” McClarty said. “As one of the top-ranked IPv6 and IPv4 networks worldwide, Tinet, with its extensive coverage around Europe, North America and Asia Pacific, will be a valuable partner to Phoenix NAP clients that are seeking worldwide reach.
