iPad Pre-Ordering To Start From 5:30am PST Friday, March 12, 2010, 6:51:34 AM Apple (AAPL) has announced that the iPad can be pre-ordered from 5:30am PST / 8:30am EST on 12th March. Customers are being given the choice to either collect the iPad from an Apple store, or have the device sent to their home address. Reports have stated that if the iPad is ordered by phone, then customers will receive the device on the day of launch, but if pre-ordered online through Apple’s store, then the device will be sent out on the day of launch, delaying when the customer will receive it
