August 17, 2011 — Web hosting provider Intermedia, a company known for specializing in the direct and wholesale delivery of hosted Microsoft Exchange services, announced on Wednesday that it has signed an agreement with Microsoft to deliver solutions that include Microsoft Office 365, the SaaS version of Microsoft’s popular desktop productivity software.

The federal government lab said the cybercriminals only managed to steal a “few megabytes” of information before it realized that the data was being transferred from a server. As of Tuesday, the lab could not say what the stolen data actually entailed
