(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Real estate firm Hunt Midwest Real Estate Development ( www.huntmidwest.com ) announced on Thursday it plans to develop the first 40,000 square foot phase of its SubTech ( www.subtechkc.com ) data center within underground business complex SubTropolis in Kansas City.  When complete, the first phase of SubTech will contain 100,000 square feet of raised floor space.

The energy efficient and highly secure underground data center will offer substantial grid capacity and low kWh costs, SubTech offers tenants capacity for future growth and electrical costs lower than other parts of the United States.
