August 25, 2011 — Data center and managed services provider CoreLink Data Centers that it has upgraded its UPS systems at its Chicago, Las Vegas, Phoenix and Seattle data centers through a partnership with Schneider Electric.

A photo of TiTAN’s Washington area data center (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) – Data center developer Server Farm Realty Inc. ( www.serverfarmrealty.com ) announced on Tuesday that 10,000 square feet and 2MW of data center space in Washington is now available to its customers. The 136,000 square foot data center, TiTAN, is located in Moses Lake, Washington, according to the press release. “Energy efficiency is a driving factor in the data center selection process,” Avner Papouchado SFRI president and CEO said in a statement
A map from AboveNet’s website shows its connectivity in the New Jersey area (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) – Connectivity solutions provider AboveNet ( www.above.net ) announced on Wednesday that it has provided fiber connectivity into DuPont Fabros Technology ( www.dft.com ) wholesale data center in New Jersey. AboveNet is already connected to its facilities in Northern Virgnia and Chicago, and is currently in the process of building out to its latest development in Santa Clara, California. According to the press release, AboveNet used DFT’s “underground and secure 3-level conduit bank system” to deploy equipment at DFT’s NJ1 data center, establishing an IP and Metro Ethernet POP.
