Inside Derby Supply Chain Solutions’ Robards Lane Facility in Louisville (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Third-party Logistics provider Derby Supply Chain Solutions ( www.derbyllc.com ) announced on Monday that Web host and data center operator Peak 10 ( www.peak10.com ) will host Derby’s IT infrastructure at its Louisville, Kentucky data center. The move follows last month’s news of private equity firm Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe becoming the majority shareholder of Peak 10. Peak 10 says its Louisville data center’s managed IT and data center services “improve performance and reliability, lower costs and maximize internal resources for customers, while keeping their valuable information technology assets close to the business.” Derby IT director Wade Shelton said the Peak 10’s security and redundancy will enhance its business continuity for the company and its customers
