A website displaying the Verisign Trust Seal (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — IT security solutions firm Symantec ( www.symantec.com ) reported on Thursday that its VeriSign ( www.verisign.com ) Trust seal is growing in use among the Internet community, reaching more than a half billion views in a single day by Internet users. The news follows a June Netcraft report in June that Verisign leads the global SSL marketplace with a 44.4-percent share of the total market.
