According to the press release, the first two units of the facility will house up to 30,000 servers that will be available by the end of the year. Hetzner Online says its expansion in Nuremberg is due to the site having the potential capacity for over 100,000 servers to meet future demand

The Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Ltd (HKIRC) announced last week that current English .HK domain holders will be offered priority to register for a full Chinese .香港domain name free of charge during the Pre-Launch Priority Registration period from 22 February to 10 March, 2011. The newly registered Chinese .香港 domain name will be bundled with the English .HK domain name.

A map shows iWeb’s four Montreal data centers (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) – Canadian Web host iWeb Technologies ( www.iweb.com ) announced last week that it has activated 1000 Smart servers since the product launch three months ago.  iWeb’s Smart Servers were launched in October 2010 , and according to the company, represent its “largest innovation to date.”  iWeb says it hosts approximately 15,000 dedicated servers in four data centers in Montreal, Canada.
