There are hundreds of web hosting providers out there that provide affiliate programs for you to join.  The questions now are, what is an affiliate program? Why would I want to join one? What can I do to make my affiliate links more successful?  Well, I hope to bring you up to speed as I discuss the benefits of affiliate programs for your average webmaster.

Are you a web host looking for a way to bring in new customers, and reward current customers or web site owners for doing the dirty work for you?  Then you might want to look into setting up an affiliate program.  It takes some capital stored up to get started, but once you do – you will see your new accounts list grow and grow every single day. Most of the time when a web host starts an affiliate program they either host and setup the script themselves or they let a third party control things.  If you go the self hosted route, you can always search Google for, “affiliate program scripts” to find some script suggestions.  I have not had much experience with scripts like this, so I will leave that as homework for you to do.  For smaller web hosts, letting a third party handle things might seem more efficient.  You have less to worry about and all you really have to do is dump some money in, and then decide who gets paid for what referral.

I might have been missing in action for a few weeks, but I have finally figure out a way to make it up to you.  I’m going to share my tips with web hosts on how to get more web hosting clients and I’m going to tell the webmasters out there how to earn more money.  So what is the secret?  I have one word for you.  Affiliate.

Have you had a chance to view the affiliate marketing news lately? Well if you haven’t let me explain how valuable internet affiliate marketing is to entrepreneurs in this type if business. Affiliate marketing is one of the greatest online businesses to be in due to the fact it has such a low start-up cost and is one of the easiest and quickest things to set up. Now how do you become an affiliate marketer? Well first you need an internet marketing plan which consists of the following:

2. RESEARCH KEYWORDS- Do a simple google search to find a keyword suggestion tool to get a bunch of keywords on your affiliate marketing product. You will use this keywords to write articles and submit them to ezinearticles (the world’s largest online article directory).

3. BUY A DOMAIN NAME- Go to cheapnames or godaddy and buy a domain name related to the product you are trying to sell.

4. CREATE A WEBSITE-Create a website promoting the affiliate marketing product you chose to sell. I recommend a review site of the product showing the benefits and why the customer needs this product. The website doesn’t need to be complex, just make it clean and neat.

5. WRITE ARTICLES-Write as many articles as you can which are informative and 500+ words. Articles need to be informative or they will be rejected by Ezinearticles. You cannot promote your product directly in the article; you must give your links to the product in the bio box. The reason why the article needs to be 500+ words is because isnare (world’s best article directory submitter) requires 500 or more words in order for it to submit your article to over 400 article directories. It only costs a buck to do this per article or if you are submitting lots of articles you can pay a flat fee of $59.99 and submit as many articles as you want.

6. PAID ADVERTISING- Try and use google paid advertising by creating a sales ad and bidding on keywords. When someone types in a keyword into google your ad will be displayed on your affiliate marketing product. When someone clicks on your ad it my costs you anywhere from $.10-$2.00 but if you are getting sales it is well worth it.
