July 29, 2011 — Fiber-optic network infrastructure provider euNetworks Group announced on Friday that it has completed the acquisition of German-based corporate WAN provider TeraGate. euNetworks says this acquisition is a “natural addition” following the LambdaNet acquisition in May, with an enterprise customer base primarily in the German market. Colocation firm LambdaNet has 25 data centers across Germany.

July 29, 2011 — Management software and solutions provider CA Technologies announced on Friday that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire privately-held SaaS-based monitoring firm WatchMouse. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. According to the press release, WatchMouse uses a globally-distributed infrastructure of more than 60 monitoring stations in more than 40 countries.

According to the press release, the acquisition was completed via a short-form merger under Delaware law, eliminating the need for a Terremark shareholder vote.  Verizon first announced back in January it would acquire Terremark for $1.4 billion, which breaks down to about $19 per share.
