Playboy Confirm Nudity on the Apple IPad Thursday, January 20, 2011, 10:21:51 AM Hugh Hefner announced via Twitter.com yesterday that “Playboy on iPad will be uncensored” and would include “the whole magazine from the first issue to the latest.” Naturally, we all thought he was talking about an uncensored Playboy App but Gizmodo have found out that it’s not an app he’s actually talking about, it’s a Playboy website custom designed for the IPad. Theresa Hennessey, Playboy spokeswoman, has confirmed that “We are releasing a web-based subscription service with Bondi Digital Publishing that will give users access to every issue of Playboy both past and present. The service will be iPad-compatible and will utilize iPad functions.” However, in true Apple (AAPL) style, Hennessey also announced that a censored App will be released shortly after that will adhere to Apple’s nudity and pornography policies and guidelines
