I have the domain http://urbanmythbusters.com and I got contacted via twitter from somebody wanting to buy it, after receiving the offer I started looking into domain auctions and there seems to be a lot of pretty poor domains going for a decent price.
I was just wondering if anybody has actually made money from buying and selling domains before, and is there as much money in it as it first seems.

There was money to be made several years ago but all the best names were bought up very quickly. I myself bought up a lot of names I thought would be wanted by companies but this is going back about 9 years.
Not as much as you think….You would need to have a library of domains in the tens of thousands to see and monetary gain
